MANILA, Philippines — The remains of the Filipino couple who drowned while on honeymoon in the Maldives are set to arrive in the country on Saturday afternoon.

In a text message, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said the remains of Leomer Lagradilla and his wife Erica Joyce will be arrive at 3:30 p.m. onboard an Etihad flight.

The bodies of the couple were first brought to Sri Lanka to be embalmed before being flown to the Philippines.
