The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) assured on Monday that no Filipinos were hurt after a strong quake hit Iran on Sunday evening.

“There are no Filipinos among the hundreds of people hurt after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Iran’s western province of Kermanshah,” the DFA said in a bulletin report.

This was reported by Ambassador to Iran Wilfredo Santos after he contacted the 10 Filipinos living in the affected areas of the quake.
