US Embassy in Manila closed on Nov. 12

The United States (US) Embassy in the Philippines and other affiliated offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12, in observance of Veterans Day.

In an advisory on Thursday, the embassy said its office and affiliated offices would resume regular services on Tuesday, Nov. 13.


Veterans Day is an American holiday observed every November 11 to honor military veterans during wartime and to commemorate the end of World War I with the signing of Armistice in 1918. /cbb
