AMMAN, Jordan—President Rodrigo Duterte will send Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano back to Jordan to fix the issue of undocumented overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) here.

“I will send maybe senator, Secretary Cayetano, to fix this thing,” Duterte said in his speech before the Filipino community at the Royal Cultural Palace here.

Jordan is home to around 43,000 OFWs.

Duterte, who went on a three-day official visit here, thanked Jordanian King Abdullah II for his “kind” treatment to Filipino workers.

“I would like to thank again the King, His Majesty King Abdullah, for being so kind to invite me and for being kind to my people,” he said.
