Chinese man arrested for beating waitress in Parañaque

Authorities have arrested a Chinese man for beating a Filipino waitress for eating a piece of chicharon at a restaurant in Parañaque City.

In a police report by the Southern Police District, authorities nabbed Wang Yongbin, 27, for beating 32-year-old victim, Rutchel Taer.

According to the police, Yongbin, stay-in chef of Reyes Eatery, saw Taer took a piece of chicharon from the kitchen table, prompting the suspect to punch her at the back and pin her down the floor.

Yongbin continued to restrain Taer until her co-workers saw the commotion and rescued her.

Taer immediately reported the incident to their employer, who sought assistance from the Police Community Precinct 2 of Parañaque City police.

Yongbin is facing a slight physical injury charge before the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office. /je
