PH put on EU list of rights violators

/ 07:08 AM March 18, 2018

The European Union has kept up its criticism of President Duterte’s bloody war on drugs, renewing its call for a prompt and impartial investigation and prosecution of all summary killings in relation to the antidrug campaign.

In a statement sent to the United Nations Human Rights Council last Wednesday, the 28-nation bloc listed the Philippines along with other countries that have bad human rights records.

Other countries on the list included North Korea, Iran and Myanmar. —Dona Pazzibugan
