US Embassy in Manila closed on Feb. 19 for ‘President’s Day’

The United States Embassy in Manila has announced it would be closed on February 19, Monday.

In an advisory on Thursday, the embassy said its affiliated offices would also be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day, an American holiday.

The embassy and affiliated offices will resume services on Tuesday, February 20, the advisory stated.

Presidents’ Day, also known as Washington’s Birthday, is a federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February in the United States.
