Local airline Cebu Pacific Air has announced it would dispatch a special flight to Kuwait to take home overseas Filipino workers (OFW) who have been advised by President Rodrigo Duterte to leave the country in 72 hours.

“Cebu Pacific will be mounting a special flight to Kuwait to assist our kababayans who wish to be repatriated to the Philippines,” the airline said in a statement on Saturday.

“We are coordinating with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait on the airlift details and other travel arrangements,” the airline said. “We will provide further information once these are finalized.”
