Flights to Japan, Taiwan cancelled Sunday
Several international flights to or from Japan and Taiwan were cancelled Sunday due to Supertyphoon “Lan” (local name Typhoon “Paolo”), the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced.
Paolo exited the Philippine area of responsibility Sunday morning as it headed towards Japan.
The following Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific flights between Japan and Manila and Cebu, and Taiwan to Manila were cancelled:
- PR 408 Manila – Kansai, Japan
*Affected passengers will be accommodated on replacement flight PR5408 Manila-Kansai Oct. 23 (Monday), according to the Philippine Airlines website. -
PR 432 Manila – Narita, Japan
*Affected passengers will be accommodated on PR428/427 Manila-Narita-Manila Oct. 23 (Monday) -
PR 438 Manila – Nagoya, Japan
*Affected passengers will be accommodated on replacement flight PR5438 Manila-Nagoya Oct. 23 (Monday) -
PR 896/897 Manila – Taipei, Taiwan – Manila
