PUERTO PRINCESA CITY – Two Japanese tourists have been reported missing in Coron, Palawan since Tuesday, according to a police report.

Senior Inspector Ric Ramos, spokesman of the Palawan police, said the foreigners Itanni Masaru, 59, and Arai Yoshihiro, 24, were reported by the staff at GMG Hotel to be missing on Wednesday, after they failed to check in back from a scheduled tour.

Coron police recorded that the two left Coron on a hired motorized banca last Tuesday for an island-hopping tour and had not returned to their hotel at Barangay (village) 2.
