Duterte flies back home from Qatar on Easter Sunday

DOHA, Qatar — President Rodrigo Duterte flew out of the Doha International Airport here around 1:30 p.m. Sunday (6:30 p.m. PHT) after attending meetings between Philippine and Qatari officials, and a talk with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Duterte and his party will fly straight to the Philippines, where he will meet Filipinos repatriated from Saudi Arabia.


He will also visit the wake of a soldier slain in battle. –Allan Nawal /atm/rga
