China to build another mega drug rehab center in PH

China has pledged to help build another mega drug rehabilitation center in the country, President Rodrigo Duterte said early Saturday.

He said that China plans to build the new rehab center next month to support the administration’s anti-illegal drugs campaign.

He explained that to wean drug users away from using illegal drugs, they should be enrolled in rehabilitation centers

In a Radyo Inquirer report, Duterte called the Chinese as people with “golden hearts” for supporting him and offering assistance on his campaign.

Duterte also added that a P1-billion donation from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) was used in building new facilities for the Department of Health that will soon be open to help drug dependents. IDL
