A panel of the Commission on Appointments (CA) on Tuesday recommended the nomination of former Makati Representative Teodoro Locsin Jr. as Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the United Nations.
Aside from Locsin, the CA’s committee on foreign affairs also recommended for confirmation the ad interim appointments of 21 other senior officers of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
The recommendations of the panel will then be transmitted to the CA plenary for further actions. CDG
