BI names new exec

IMMIGRATION Commissioner Jaime Morente has designated Maria Antonette Bucasas-Mangrobang as the bureau’s spokesperson.

Mangrobang served in the same capacity during the terms of Ricardo David Jr. and Siegfred Mison. She has been in the Bureau of Immigration for the past 16 years and is a career employee with an item of  legal officer under the bureau’s law and investigation division.

As bureau  spokesperson, Mangrobang is in charge of handling  requests for interviews and conveying  to the press and public the bureau’s positions on immigration issues.

She will also supervise the bureau’s media office in drafting and disseminating press releases and  statements.

Mangrobang is  also former head of the bureau’s training center in Clark, Pampanga. Tina G. Santos
