Breast cancer support group for younger women

A breast cancer support group for younger women who were recently diagnosed and are receiving treatment for breast cancer is convening at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center at Carol Ann Read Breast Health Center, 3100 Summit St., Oakland, California.

Participants will meet other young women who are facing issues of fertility, caring for young children, new careers, relationships and body image.

Learn about breast cancer treatment and how other women cope with surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and breast reconstruction.
