A Filipino domestic helper in Hong Kong who claimed to be a lesbian was convicted of sexually harassing an eight-year-old boy previously under her care, Hong Kong News reported.

The report said Judge Johnny Chan, in a 27-page verdict, convicted the Filipino woman “on all three charges of indecent assault filed against her.”

The report said Chan dismissed the claim of the accused that she could not have molested her ward as she was not attracted to males.

“In my judgment, the sexual orientation of the defendant does not preclude her from committing the three offenses and the uncharged acts in question,” the judge was quoted as saying.

Chan said the first indecent assault was committed between July 1, 2011 and August 31, 2011 and was repeated twice.

The report said the boy reported the incident to his parents only last year when he took up sex education in school.

The Filipino helper’s sentencing was set on March 11. The judge also ordered a psychological report on the defendant and a victim’s impact assessment report. YG
