At least 10 Filipinos were granted clemency by the Qatar government during its national day last December 18.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Thursday that “clemency was extended to 10 incarcerated overseas Filipinos,” which include nine males and one female.

DFA said the clemency was issued by the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
