BERLIN, Germany–A group exhibition entitled “WASAK! Filipino Art Today” in two Berlin locations will launch the new Arndt Art Agency A3 premises on Saturday, December 5, 2015, 12-5 p.m. at Potsdamer Str.96 and A3, Fasanenstrasse 28.

This landmark exhibition explores the Filipino contemporary art landscape. WASAK! signals the first major survey of Filipino contemporary art of its kind in Europe and will be accompanied by a major hard copy publication published by European publishing house DISTANZ Verlag.

The Berlin Group Exhibition “WASAK! Filipino Art Today,” is curated by Norman Crisologo, featuring artists Zean Cabangis, Annie Cabigting, Buen Calubayan, Louie Cordero, Jigger Cruz, Marina Cruz, Kawayan De Guia, Alfredo Esquillo, Ian Fabro, Nona Garcia, Pow Martinez, Manuel Ocampo, Alwin Reamillo, Norberto Roldan, Kaloy Sanchez, José Santos III, Rodel Tapaya, Tatong Torres and Ronald Ventura.

“WASAK!” signals Arndt’s move to an upmarket Berlin neighborhood that is home to many traditional galleries and auction houses.

From Berlin the newly founded Arndt Art Agency (A3) will focus on artist management, art advisory and curated exhibitions in collaboration with major international artists, museums and private collections.

Its commercial gallery activity will continue to operate through its Singapore Gallery, ARNDT FINE ART, based at the central Asian arts hub Gillman Barracks.
