The Philippine Air Force and the Philippine Navy are beefing up its security preparations for the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation as it ends its joint training exercises on Friday.

Although the military has not monitored any specific threat against the Apec meetings, the military has set up arrangements to respond to any kind of situation.

“We incorporated in the exercises our security preparations for the Apec, like the transport and mobility of personnel and medical evacuation to test our capability,” said Col. Enrico Canaya, PAF spokesperson.
