Filipino Cultural School Graduation, Aug. 15, Bellflower, Calif.

BELLFLOWER, California – One-hundred-twenty students, ranging from ages 4 to 18, who have gone through the seven­week summer school program learning about the Filipino and Filipino American culture at the Filipino Cultural School, will be honored at the FCS Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, August 15, starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernard Parish Hall, 9647 Beach Street.

Graduation will highlight the different lessons that the students have learned, including dance, music, language, history and lifestyle/values classes.

The students will also be honored for their dedication and enthusiasm in learning their heritage. Today, the school continues as a growing family.

Filipino Cultural School is a community organization that strives to educate the youth from 4 to 18 years old about the Filipino and Filipino American Culture.

Volunteers dedicate their time to prepare, teach and provide a safe and fun environment for their students.

The organization has been running for 50 years. It was founded by the Sampaguita Women’s Circle Inc. in 1965. This year, we were able to honor those who helped foster the orga current state. Through the work of the past, we continue to pass down the lessons and values that make our culture grow from generation to generation.

Price: $5/Adults & $3/Students and Children (Under 10 years old)

AT THE DOOR: $6 Adults and $4 Student/Child (Anyone 18 and below)
