Big push in San Francisco for ‘$999 Visit the Philippines Package’
SAN FRANCISCO – Philippine tourism officials, the country’s consulate here, Philippine Airlines as well as key Fil-Am travel agencies have launched a big push for The “$999 Visit the Philippines Package,” which aims to increase tourist arrivals to the Philippines during the lean-month seasons of September – November and January – March.
With a minimum of two-pax traveling together both ways, the following are also included in the $999 Visit the Philippine Package: two nights/three days hotel accommodation in Manila at a four-star hotel; daily breakfast and airport transfers (one-way). The $999 price tag is inclusive of taxes.
The tour package’s selling period is from June 15, 2015 to August 15, 2015. Travel period for the Promo is valid from September 1, 2015 to November 30, 2015 and from January 16, 2016 to March 10, 2016.
Tourism Director Purificacion S. Molintas, together with the new Philippine Airlines OIC Milagros Montemayor Revilla, and Deputy Consul General Jaime Ascalon, presented the latest initiative in support of the tourism industry’s “Visit the Philippines Year” campaign.
The joint project also involves the cooperation of Mango Tours/Travelfast, Pacific Air and Leisure and their sub-agents, the DOT-Los Angeles and DOT-New York and all the city hubs of Philippine Airlines in the U.S. namely, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and Honolulu.
“Philippine Island Holidays” tour packages are also available for those who want to experience the world’s best coral reefs, pristine white sand beaches, and locals whose warmth and hospitality are unrivaled in the region. Choose from these fun-filled destinations such as Cebu, Boracay, Bohol, Laoag, Banaue, Puerto Prinsesa and Davao, for only USD 1,099.
