Asian Heritage Street Celebration marks 11th year in SF Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO — Asian Heritage Street Celebration, the largest gathering of Asians in the nation, marked its 11th year, showcasing Asian and Pacific Islander cultures at San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza last May 23.

Oakland Asian Cultural Center organized the 11th year celebration, which was filled with delicious Asian food and refreshments, Asian-themed arts and crafts vendors and performances by Asian and Pacific Islander artists, singers and dancers.
