More than 300 residents received free medical checkup and medicines during the medical mission recently conducted by Kepco SPC Power Corp. in barangay North Poblacion, Naga City in southern Cebu.

The outreach activity, part of the company’s social development plan (SDP) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, was in cooperation with the Naga city government.

Doctors and medical staff from the City Health Office and the Philippine Gospel Association (PGA) Ministries Missions International Inc., barangay officials and health workers facilitated the activity.

It was the second medical mission organized by Kepco-SPC in its host barangay of North Poblacion.

KSPC is committed to promote sustainable development through the implementation of its SDP and CSR program that is focused on health, education, environment and livelihood.

The other projects for health are “Operation Tuli,” upgrading of barangay health center and the city health office facilities, feeding program and vitamins supplementation, among others.
