Aquino leaving for Jakarta

JAKARTA, Indonesia—President Benigno Aquino is scheduled to leave Manila at 5 p.m. Friday for the Asean Leaders’ Summit here.

Aquino will board his aircraft at the Villamor Airbase and will arrive at the Halim Perdanakusuma Military Airbase at 8 p.m. in Jakarta.

The President is expected to be welcomed by an Indonesian minister, Indonesian Chief State Protocol Ambassador Lutfi Rauf, Close-In Liaison Officer and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Counselor Heriansyah Khairul and a close-in security officer.

Philippine officials who will meet Aquino are Philippine Permanent Representative to the Asean Ambassador Wilfrido Villacorta, his spouse Maria Lourses, Charges d’Affaires Maria Rosario Aguinaldo, Deputy Permanent Representative Teresita Daza.

Aquino will be accompanied by a 54-person delegation that will include Foreign Secretary Albert Del Rosario, Trade and Industry Secretary Gregory Domingo, Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, and Energy Secretary Jose Rene Almendras.

Other officials in the delegation are Communications Development Secretary Ramon Carandang, Mindanao Development Authority Chairperson Luwalhati Antonino, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Erlinda Basilio, Chief Presidential Protocol and Presidential Assistant Miguel Perez-Rubio, Trade and Industry Assistant Secretary Ramon Vicente Kabigting, and Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Victoria Bataclan.
