MANILA, Philippines—United States Ambassador to the country Kristie Kenney will lead the American community and guests in honoring the services and sacrifices of American and Filipino veterans at the annual Veterans Day ceremony to be held at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in Taguig City, Metro Manila, on Wednesday, November 11 at 11 a.m.

In a press advisory, the US embassy here said veterans of both nations and representatives from the US embassy and Philippine government will be present. Former President Fidel V. Ramos will deliver the Keynote Address and participate in a wreath laying ceremony.

At the same time, the US Embassy in Manila and its affiliated offices will be closed that day, an American holiday.
