All set for Mr. Perfect Body

EVERYTHING is in place for tomorrow?s Mr. Perfect Body 2009 search with 30 musclemen from different fitness clubs and gyms converging at the Gaisano Main's Food Square.

The bodybuilding competition is organized by Nancy Yukayguan and sponsored by YKG Industrial Sales Corporation, Agua Air, Dr. Vicente Dela Peña and Jumali?s Printers.

Defending champion Allan Pertoza will defend his crown.

The 30 contestants are, Jeff Pacuma and Art Bueno of the Tarzier Fitness Gym, William Parandas of Xtrem Fitness gym, Guilnar Banados, Jimmy Duran and Carmelito Abersido of the Junas Fitness gym, Richard Bacus and Nile Quano of the Body Fitness Gym, Benjie Agravante and Manuelito Lirazan of the Muscle Blast;

Gary Densing, Jomar Manaytay and Jun Pitogo of the DX3 Fitness gym, Enrique Abelgas and Mario Lastimosa of the Abelgas gym, Tito Belamede, Oliver Dela Pena, Jimbo Tangpus, Nick Baguio and Adrian Anglo from D' Perfect Body Club, Dick Robertson Yu, Howel Bertolfo and Farley Letegio of the Holiday Gym and Spa, Pepito Regin of the Body Rising Gym, Edwin Orjausa of the Sureshocker Gym, LJ Mendez and Marlo Juntan of the Fitness First Gym and Joseph Alsan and Milo Duhino of the Shocker Gym.

Favored to win this year?s title are Roy Zafra and Dick Robertson Yu.

Zafra is a 37 year-old veteran bodybuilder who already won numerous competitions including the recent Mr. Visayas Open Category 2009, Mister Perfect Muscle Tall Division also last May at the Parkmall and Mister Robinson's 2005.

Meanwhile, Yu is taking tomorrow?s competition a major stepping stone. Yu already won several contests including the recent Mr. Cebu 2009 novice category last May 31 and 2nd runner-up in another category of the same contest.

The Mr. Perfect Body 2009 will receive P5,000 plus trophy and gift packs while the second placer will walk away with P3,000, trophy and gift packs. The third placer will take home P2,000, trophy and gift packs while fourth to sixth placers will receive medals and gift packs. Non-winners will receive gift certificates from Gaisano Main.
