TEAM Remember went to work in the final half to dispatch Jeff's Pharmadent, 68-55, in the 6th M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Under-21 Developmental Basketball League at the Consolacion Sports Complex.
Remember started to find its rhythm in the third quarter, where it broke a 31-all standoff at the bend and surged to a 50-44 lead with one period to play.
Remember finished off Jeff's Pharmadent in the fourth with an 18-11 attack.
The newly opened tournament, spearheaded by M. Lhuillier Sports Development Foundation Executive Director Eddie B. Ybañez, has 14 competing teams divided into two brackets.
Remember and Jeff's Pharma belong to Bracket B along with 5th Avenue Telecom, University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Baby Panthers, Mabolo Christian Academy, Ave Maria Sanctuary Park, and Mandaue City Stallions.
Composing Bracket A are MLSDF selection, CNHS Black Shama , Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) Baby Skyblazers, Philweb, Athletes for Christ through Excellent Service (ACES), and Southwestern University (SWU) Baby Cobras.
