Toledo City, Philippines - Six firecracker stalls located at a designated firecracker vending area were razed by fire shortly before lunch on Sunday in Toledo City.
Damage was estimated at P280,000.
The fire alarm was received at 11:40 a.m. The fire was put under control in two minutes.
The stalls were located at the back of the Toledo City Bus Terminal.
They were owned by Tony Datumanong, Roy Paro, Julieta Abellanosa, Teresita Causaren, Zenaida Padaag and a woman identified only as Catherine.
Police said the fire started in Datumanong's stall.
Initial investigation showed that an unidentified boy was playing with firecrackers near the stalls.
According to witnesses, one of the firecrackers he was throwing around fell inside Datumanong's stall, triggering a fire.
