CEBU CITY, Philippines – A group of youngsters went on a shooting spree, wounding three persons in Talisay City, Cebu, on Sunday.
The police said witnesses identified the suspects as Glenn del Rosario, Gerald Tradyo and Raymond Sayson, all residents of Barangay (village) Cansojong, Talisay.
Police investigation showed the three suspects were first involved in a shooting incident in Barangay Poblacion.
Ricky Mateo, 20, and Ian Cabahug, 24, both of Sitio (district) Litmon, were walking with their friends when the suspects arrived on board a motorcycle and fired at them.
Mateo suffered a gunshot wound in the left wrist, while Cabahug was hit in the upper back of the body.
Minutes later, the suspects were again involved in another shooting incident in Sitio (district) Miramar.
The suspects allegedly shot a 17-year-old boy, who was hit in the right shoulder.
The victims were brought to the Talisay City District Hospital before they were transferred to hospital in Cebu City.
The police tracked down the suspects but they were not located in their respected homes. /Correspondent Chris A. Ligan
