Filipino kid, rescuer drown off UAE coast

ABU DHABI–A Filipino boy drowned while six others were rescued off the coast of Ras Al Khaiman, in United Arab Emirates, a local paper here reported.

The seven Filipino children, aged 11 to 13, went swimming with their father behind Al Masoudi School last Wednesday, 7Days tabloid reported.

Rashid Mohammed Al Mazroui, 18, who along with his friends dived into the rough waters upon hearing the children”s shout for help, drowned as well.
