MANILA, Philippines – OFWs and balikbayans returning home for the holidays can now enjoy a more meaningful and convenient Christmas shopping experience as Duty Free Philippines Fiestamall extends its shopping hours.

“Many of our hardworking Filipinos from abroad who are returning for Christmas often have little or no time to buy pasalubong for their loved ones. Duty Free Philippines gives back to OFWs by providing them with more time to shop with their families, especially those who are taking nighttime flights,” said Duty Free Chief Operating Officer Lorenzo C. Formoso. Shoppers are also sure to feel the unique Paskong Pinoy (Pinoy Christmas) atmosphere, as Duty Free offers an enviable list of activities set to give them an unforgettable shopping experience.

Astounding Christmas décor will wow visitors, like the classic Belen (manger) depicting the birth of the Messiah. Shoppers will also be serenaded with Christmas carols by chorale groups from various schools. Other exciting highlights include a marching band to welcome shoppers and mime artists to add Christmas magic to the festivities. Avid photo fans can also capture happy moments with their loved ones at a photo booth by the Belen. Duty Free will also hold a special concert by top local band Area One to wow audiences on December 23.
