Chinese fugitive nabbed in Davao City

DAVAO CITY – Police arrested on Friday a Chinese national wanted by the International Police Organization (Interpol) for fraud.

Senior Insp. Ma. Teresita Gaspan, Davao City police spokesperson, identified the suspect as Fong Hao Ling, alias Fong Jou-Rong.

Gaspan said Fong was collared near a gasoline station in Dacudao Avenue at about 5:30 p.m.


The Chinese who has been living in Barangay Obrero has a standing red notice, Gaspan said.

She said the arrest was carried out in coordination with the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

“The subject alien has also been blacklisted by the BI,” the city police spokesperson added.
