PH lifts alert in Thailand

The Philippines has lifted its alert level for Filipinos in Thailand following the announcement by the country’s ruling junta that martial law had been lifted.

In an advisory issued on April 10, the Department of Foreign Affairs said its crisis alert level 1 for Thailand had been taken down.

Under the crisis alert level 1, Filipino nationals were advised to exercise caution and avoid populated areas.

It is the first level in a range of one to four, the last being mandatory repatriation.
