Elite mentor-protégé program for rising young Asian leaders

WASHINGTON, DC — Naisa, the first 501(c)(3) education non-profit focused on “empowering young Asian leaders across the globe,” announced the Naisa Mentor-Protégé Program. The flagship program gives emerging Asian leaders access to high-profile mentors.
The Naisa Mentor-Protégé Program is a one of a kind elite program for mentees who are admitted access to senior executives from various industries in the private and public sectors.
The pool of senior executives includes law firm partners, high-profile tech entrepreneurs, business leaders and government officials.
“This program is a direct response to the leadership ceiling that Asians face not just in the United States but around the world,” said Jamie Sheen, Naisa founder and CEO. “Our mentors and protégés are going to change the status quo and help break this ceiling.”
Naisa selects their Protégés from a group of high potential young Asians ranging from top university graduates to promising professionals at global companies, consulting firms and law firms.
These individuals must pass a strict and competitive application process in order to be admitted into the program. Those who wish to become mentors must undergo a screening process as well, but are also personally invited by Naisa’s leadership board to join the program.
The goal of the Mentor-Protégé Program is to place emerging young Asian leaders on a fast track to success, and promote diversity by increasing the presence of Asian leadership in the US and abroad.
The program matches protégés with mentors for a period of nine months and uses state-of-the-art mentoring software to facilitate mentor-protégé communications in order to set milestones and achieve their goals.
The program will match up to 200 mentors and protégés in 2015, and aims to match 1,000 by the end of 2017 with expected protégé applications of
10,000 from around the world. Applications are open for the first group of Mentor-Protégé matches, and can be found on
