SF Kulinarya Showdown issues call for participants

SAN FRANCISCO, California — Professional and Amateur chefs are invited to participate at the fifth “Annual Kulinarya:  A Filipino Culinary Showdown!”

Grand prizes include $1,000 for Top Professional Chef, $500 for Top Amateur Chef, culinary tour package to the Philippines (air, hotel and land accommodations), opportunity to represent the Philippines in major culinary events, Kulinarya trophy.

Qualifying round will be on Sunday,  August 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the Culinary Pavilion of the Pistahan Festival, Yerba Buena Garden, San Francisco.

The Kulinarya Championship Round will on Saturday, November 15 from 11 a.m. To 5 p.m., City View at the Metreon, San Francisco.
