South Korean nabbed over drugs, sex abuse in Pampanga
MANILA, Philippines—A South Korean national was arrested in Pampanga after he allegedly forced two teenagers to use drugs and have sex with him, police said.
In a report, Police Regional Office 3 identified the arrested suspect as Kim Caben, 42, who was staying at the Avante Hotel in Barangay (village) Anunas, Angeles City.
Caben was arrested around 7 p.m. last Wednesday after a concerned citizen reported that the suspect was “forcing” two women to use illegal drugs and have sexual intercourse with him inside his hotel room, police said.
When authorities knocked at his hotel room, police said one of the victims opened the door, while another female was on the bed with the suspect.
The names of the victims were withheld because they are both 16 years old.
Recovered inside Caben’s room were a transparent plastic sachet containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu weighing more or less 0.06 grams; a partially opened transparent plastic sachet of shabu weighing more or less 0.02 grams; three syringes, one of which is already used.
Article continues after this advertisementCaben’s vehicle, a brown Hyundai Santa Fe (BEU 573), was also confiscated after authorities recovered two transparent plastic sachet of shabu inside.
The victims were brought to the Women and Children Protection Desk of the Angeles City police office.
