Russian DJ arrested in Pasay for overstaying in PH
MANILA, Philippines — A Russian national has been arrested by the Bureau of Immigration (BI), the agency said on Wednesday.
According to the BI, 36-year-old Andrei Umanskii, a disc jockey, was arrested at a club inside a mall in Pasay City.

The BI said that Umanskii has been overstaying in the country for over three years.
In addition, he was arrested in Palawan on two separate occasions due to allegedly resisting and disobeying local officials as well as assaulting a tricycle driver.

“Foreign nationals should be mindful of their behavior and adhere to our regulations. We will not tolerate any actions that disrupt the peace and safety of our communities,” Tansingco was quoted as saying in a release.
Umanskii will stay at the BI’s facility in Taguig pending his deportation.
