Global ranking organization includes 4 universities in its list

MANILA, Philippines — Times Higher Education (THE) has listed four Philippine universities in its 2024 rankings in ten subject disciplines.

In the results posted on Thursday, THE gave the following information:

De La Salle University (DLSU) and University of the Philippines (UP) shared the same ranking in the arts and humanities, business and economics, and physical sciences categories.

FEATURED STORIES

The two schools were in numbers 601, 801, and 1001.

For the clinical and health category, UP placed in the 501 to 600 bracket.

University of Santo Tomas was at the 801 to 1000 bracket.

DLSU and UP also were in two other categories, although in different ranks:

In computer science, DLSU ranked in the 801 to 1000 bracket, and UP was at the 1001 bracket.

In education bracket, DLSU was listed in 501 to 600 bracket, and UP in the 601 bracket.

For life sciences bracket, only UP was in the range of 801 to 1000.

Three universities placed in the social sciences category.

They are Ateneo de Manila University, DLSU, and UP, which were all in the same 801 bracket.

No Philippine institutions placed in law and psychology categories.

THE is a global university ranking organization based in Britain that sources data from around 2,500 universities in 93 countries.
