On Interpol’s wanted list: Ex-PH envoy to South Korea – report
MANILA, Philippines — A former Philippine ambassador to South Korea was placed on Interpol’s wanted list after being accused of sexual harassment.
In a report by South Korean media Yonhap News Agency on Friday, the 69-year-old allegedly sexually harassed a South Korean woman while serving in Seoul in December. The report did not name the ex-envoy.
The report, however, said he stepped down from his post after the woman came forward.
The National Police Agency said that the former ambassador was placed on the Red Notices, where Interpol “will ask its member states to cooperate in locating and arresting him,” the report from Yonhap read.
