/ 05:26 AM July 17, 2020

The remains of 66 more overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who died in Saudi Arabia will arrive on Sunday, Assistant Labor Secretary Dominique Tutay said.

This is the second batch of the remains of 274 OFWs who died from COVID-19 and other causes in Saudi, with the initial batch of 49 repatriated on July 10.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III earlier said that the government “will continue to fly home all our dead, and if need be, not only from the Middle East but also from all over the world.” —Tina G. Santos
