Taiwanese group donates personal protective gowns
A Taiwanese group has donated 1,300 pieces of personal protective gowns from Taiwan to the cities of Manila, Kawit and Carmona, Cavite, on Wednesday.
The Taiwanese Compatriot Association in the Philippines aimed to help the medical front lines in containing the novel coronavirus disease.
Receiving the donations were Manila Vice Mayor Maria Sheilah Lacuna-Pangan, Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola and Cavite 1st District Rep. Francis Abaya. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
