Philippine ad and marketing communications agency IdeasXMachina|Hakuhodo, a local member of the Hakuhodo Global Network, a global top five integrated marketing solutions company with a network linking over 150 offices in 20 countries, recently received top honors in the Campaign Magazine Southeast Asia Agency of the Year 2019 awards in Ritz Carlton, Singapore.

IdeasXMachina|Hakuhodo received two gold awards for Southeast Asia Best Culture and Talent Development Program of the Year on top of receiving a much-coveted nomination for Associate Creative Director Gabby Navarro for Southeast Asia Young Achiever of the Year, an award that has been won in the past three years by Jazz Ilagan, Jedd Ilagan, and Juice Aguilar, all from the same Hakuhodo company in the Philippines.

“It’s all about the people, the talent. Everything stems from how each and every individual in the agency fulfill their potential, and it is the organization’s responsibility and commitment to make this happen. Sei-katsu-sha!” Third Domingo, IdeasXMachina|Hakuhodo Founder and CEO said.

Domingo stressed on the importance of culture and talent development, “It’s a challenging job. It’s a challenging industry. So it’s easy to get jaded. But when people are challenged the right way, they are pumped, more creative; when they are empowered, they produce more, when they are fulfilled, clients themselves see the difference; the mind is there, and most importantly the passion and heart are there.”

The young CEO is rightfully proud of his talent pool, “These young and not so young men and women who make up IdeasXMachina|Hakuhodo have earned for themselves a place in the world of marketing communications. We are always the target of talent poaching and piracy. But these “creative engineers” as we’d like to call ourselves have embraced what it means to create wealth to share not just for themselves but for their clients as well, as evidenced by this year’s agency performance.”

Domingo’s agency has always shown a winning culture with their innovative employee perks: Lovelife Benefits, Date Your Parents Allowance, Mental Strength Sessions, Bring Your Pet To Office Days, Commission-Sharing System, and most recently, the Undertime Pay (TM). Prior to receiving these awards, IdeasXMachina has been a constant recipient of the Campaign Southeast Asia Independent Agency of the Year before its acquisition by the Hakuhodo Global Network.

Before the year ended, the Hakuhodo Headquarters in Tokyo awarded IdeasXMachina|Hakuhodo Philippines with the Global Excellence Award for its outstanding performance in Business Development for the global network.

IdeasXMachina|Hakuhodo, as part of its planned evolution has also established various business units to address the changing landscape. It has recently formed a PR and perception engineering unit called PRIXM, established a separate digital creative solutions agency called NJYN, headed by Lawin Bulatao; and a host of other units like AXOLOTL Digital Productions, !nterrobang gray ops, IDIOTS Content Creation, 11:11 Priming Communications, The Very One Cyber Creatives, Brand X Design Group, and Research and Strategy unit Brand Y — all designed to bring more value to clients.

To round up the services of the IdeasXMachina|Hakuhodo group, and as a response to the changing advertising landscape, its lead creative agency IXM will be reinforced with separate independent specialist units: SocialIXM for social media management, AlgorIXM for Data-Driven Digital Comms, ActivIXM for Events Marketing and the biggest investment to date by the company, a media ops arm called MechanIXM.
