MANILA, Philippines — Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) may now access information and services from the labor department at their fingertips.

The Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) has rolled out a mobile application that offers various services and features that Filipino workers worldwide can avail of.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said the Dole mobile app would serve as a tool for workers, particularly for OFWs, to have easy access to the latest news and regulations at work, and immediate contact to the department and to the Philippine Overseas Labor Offices in their respective countries.

“Through the use of modern technology, they can relay their labor-related concerns and complaints,” Bello said.

The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for Apple devices. —Tina G. Santos
