Indonesians seized by Sulu bandits named

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Sulu-based bandits on Sunday kidnapped three Indonesians off the waters of Lahad Datu, Malaysia, the military here said.

Major Filemon Tan Jr., spokesperson of the Western Mindanao Command, said the victims — Lorence Koten, Teo Dorus Kopong and a certain Emmanuel —  were crew of a fishing vessel.

Tan said the suspects took all eight crew members but later freed five pf them.

Tan said the vessel owner was identified as Chia Tong Lim.  SFM/rga
