AFP to report ‘misbehavior’ of Laude’s German boyfriend
MANILA, Philippines–Following the commotion at Camp Aguinaldo, the Armed Forces of the Philippines is set to submit a report to the German Embassy in the Philippines and the Bureau of Immigration regarding the intrusion of the German fiancé of the Filipino transgender killed in Olongapo.
Lieutenant Colonel Harold Cabunoc, AFP Public Affairs Chief, said they would report the misbehavior of Marc Suselbeck, the German fiancé of Jeffry “Jennifer” Laude, during a heated confrontation against Filipino soldiers who were guarding the perimeter of the temporary detention facility of Private First Class Joseph Scott Pemberton inside the Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board compound on Wednesday afternoon.
Pemberton is accused of the murder of Laude who was found dead inside an Olongapo hotel on Oct. 11.
Cabunoc said Suselbeck violated Presidential Decree No. 1227, or Unlawful Entry into Any Military Base in the Philippines.
Suselbeck also assaulted a Filipino soldier, shoving the trooper after the German climbed over the gate inside the MDB-SEB compound.
The soldier whom Suselbeck shoved was given a medical check-up at the Camp Aguinaldo Station Hospital.

On Wednesday, Suselbeck and Laude’s sister Marilou climbed over the fence inside the MDB-SEB compound demanding to see Pemberton.
“We also like to ascertain through the German Embassy the true identity and pertinent background information about Mr. Suselbeck whose misbehavior caught the attention of Philippine authorities,” Cabunoc said.
Also, Major General Domingo Tutaan said that Brigadier General Arthur Ang, Camp Commander of Camp Aguinaldo, met with General Gregorio Pio Catapang, AFP Chief of Staff, Thursday morning.
Tutaan said that Ang has filed a report regarding Wednesday’s incident.
“It is understood that any foreign nationals who visit the Philippines shall follow Philippine laws,” Cabunoc said.
