High-end benefit for PH development set in New Jersey enclave
NEW YORK, New York – An exclusive dinner al fresco at sunset, billed as “Under the August Moon,” in the exclusive enclave of Alpine, New Jersey, will be hosted August 23 by the Philippine Development Foundation (www.phildev.org), which promotes long-term sustainable growth in the Philippines.
The high-end fundraiser, in an undisclosed venue in a zip code Forbes ranked as one of the most expensive in the US, will benefit PhilDev’s science and technology scholarships for deserving youths in the Philippines.
PhilDev, led by tech titan Diosdado Banatao and other top Filipino American entrepreneurs envisions technology products and services from a “globally competitive Philippines driven by innovative entrepreneurs focused on growth and job creation.”
The event is being held with the support of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce (www.philamchamber.org). Limousine transportation will be arranged for VIP guests. Only a limited number of tickets will be made available online.
Dinner will consist of an “elegant gourmet tasting menu” designed by award-winning Top Chef Dale Talde of Talde and Pork Slope; King Phojanokong of Kuma Inn and Umi Nom; Edie Ugot from The Spotted Pig, The Breslin and Nomad; Neil Syham (world-class chef from NY) and expert mixology by Maharlika. The unique Asian fusion cuisine will showcase homegrown “farm-to-table” ingredients, specialty wines and signature cocktails.
