SEATTLE—The Philippine government thanked the Boeing Company for its generous of $250,000 and to the Boeing Employees Association, which has so far raised $460,000 (the donation period is still ongoing and will be closing on December 12) for the Typhoon Yolanda rehabilitation efforts.

In a ceremony held last Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Boeing facilities in Seattle, Consul General Marciano A. Paynor, Jr. thanked the company and its employees for their support.

Welcomed by Dan Schull, Boeing’s sales and marketing director for Asia Pacific, Paynor and other guests toured the Boeing factory and had lunch with Capt. Alfonso Rodriguez and other representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
