The results of overseas voters have yet to be officially tallied. However, here are unofficial results from different parts of the world.
Chiz tops US polls
In the United States, these are the results reported:
Administration candidate Francis “Chiz” Escudero topped the Senate race in the US with 9,464 votes. He was followed by Alan Peter Cayetano (9,174), Grace Poe (9,029), Loren Legarda (8,696), Aquilino Pimentel III (8,448), Bam Aquino (8,267), Juan Edgardo Angara (7,735), Richard Gordon (7,291), Ramon Magsaysay Jr. (7,187), Riza Hontiveros (6,983), Antonio Trillanes (6,521), Juan Miguel Zubiri (4,908).
Ten of the winners were administration candidates except for Gordon and Zubiri prompting Ambassador Jose Cuisia to hail the results as one of “support for government reforms.”
Grace leads in Kuwait polls
According to the Arab Times online, Poe topped the polls in Kuwait, garnering a total of 2,255 votes. Trailing behind Poe in the senatorial slate were Cayetano (2,223), Legarda (2,207), Escudero (2,204), Pimentel (2,181), Aquino (1,911), Angara (1663), Trillanes (1627), Hontiveros (1,592), Gregorio Honasan (1,531), Magsaysay (1,460), Gordon (1,448), Ejercito (1,359), Nancy Binay (1,239), Juan Ponce Enrile Jr. (1,161) and Zubiri (1,040).
For the party list representatives, OFW Family topped garnering a total votes of 1,095. Others on the top five were Gabriela Women’s Party (143), Alyansa ng OFW Party (142) , Migrante Sectoral Party of Overseas Filipinos and their families (130), Akbayan Citizens’ Action Party (114) and Coalition of Association of Senior Citizens in the Philippines (108).
Chiz No. 1 in Damman
According to ABS-CBN’s Middle East News Bureau, only 2,723 voters or 10.96% of 24,842 registered voters in this Saudi Arabian city actually cast their votes.
Their unofficial count showed Liberal Party bet Escudero leading with 1,797 votes and followed closely by Poe with 1,736 votes. Next wereCayetano (1,722), Legarda (1,616), Pimentel (1,611), Hontiveros (1,535), Gordon (1,474), Trillanes (1,427), Angara (1,350), Aquino (1,328), Eddie Villanueva (1,222), Magsaysay (1,202). In the 13th and 14th slot were Edward Hagedorn and Zubiri (1,122 and 1,064 votes, respectively).
The OFW Family Party was leading in the party-list race with 597 votes.
Loren is HK’s favorite
In Hong Kong, The Sun and Hong Kong News had the following unofficial figures:
Legarda (18,177), Cayetano (15,392), Poe (14,596), Escudero (13,685), Pimentel (13,111), Aquino (12,778), Teodoro Casiño (12,568), Villanueva (12,306), Magsaysay (12,172), Angara (11,941), Ejercito (11,910) and Gordon (11,437). In 13th place was Enrile (10,425).
For party-list, Migrante Sectoral Party got 10,201 votes.
