/ 12:05 AM April 07, 2013

Pinoys2Canada, an immigration and legal consultancy group, opens its first Canadian Immigration Seminar on April 13 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Canadian immigration expert and lawyer Massood Joomratty will answer questions on how to live and work permanently in Canada,” announced the group.

Canada has been consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in. Many Filipinos have found a new home there with the Philippines being the second largest source country for immigration to Canada in 2012 with 32,704 permanent residents admitted, growing significantly by 146 percent  since 2004.

The country has a liberal and flexible immigration policy, said Jaime Stephen de la Rama, president of Pinoys2Canada, but he warned aspiring immigrants against “fraudulent and ineffective practices.”

Newly set up in Pasig City, Pinoys2Canada is the Philippine office of M. Joomratty Law Corporation based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. For more information on the Canadian Immigration Seminar, contact Pinoys2Canada at [email protected] or (02) 7180402.
