MANILA, Philippines—A 39-year-old Chinese national was arrested and about 1 kilogram of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” was confiscated following a drug sting at a park in Manila Tuesday afternoon, a Philippine National Police official said.
Chief Inspector Roque Merdegia of PNP’s Philippine National Police’s Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Force said Yu Ming Li a.k.a Mr. Co and Mr. Lee was arrested near the Luneta Park around 2 p.m.
Aside from the suspected shabu, police also seized his Honda Civic (UKP 832), P2,920 cash, two cell phones and several other documents. Jamie Elona
